Useless online drop shop outfit.
Useless online drop shop outfit, uses this method to avoid refunds for undelivered items, completely useless customer service, needs to stick to shop retail or will come unstuck with zero customer confidence, low score seems to bolster this view.

Can customer services get even worse?
Purchased a product which appeared faulty but before taking it back for a refund I thought I would try their product helpline. The person answered in German! Unfortunately when the product gives a helpline number you might reasonably presume it would be English. Plan B was to talk to customer services but despite trying 4 times all I got was either a man or woman with a clearly defined Asian accent who could not understand what I was asking about the product, Have Aldi transfered their customer services to an off- shore call centre? Today's newspapers indicate from a profits point of view that Aldi is set to find itself in the top 4 supermarkets thus demoting Tesco. Are Aldi now making so much money that they wish to increase profits even further by saving money on appalling customer services. It used to be the best supermarket by far but sadly this is no longer the case. Clearly Aldi are not interested in customer complaints via this portal or they would at least reply to some of the recent comments.
Bought cheese with best before date 8th…
Bought cheese with best before date 8th August, came to open today and mould is growing throughout. I purchased from the Ramsbottom store some 12 miles away and customer service have advised I need to return the item to this store as my local store could refuse to refund or exchange. The cost to return in fuel would be four or five times the cast of the cheese. Asda or mainstream stores would refund at any branch. Aldi has still to learn about customer service. I've been using Aldi for over 20 year, but no longer as I like to feel valued as a customer. Afraid this is not the case with Aldi

This toilet was a health and safety issue absolutely disgustingly dirty Come on Aldi you can do better than this……..

Aldi use to be one of my favourite…
Aldi use to be one of my favourite store
But the last visit to Haverfordwest store me and my partner , she is disabled we parked up put out the blue badge and went shopping into Aldi store.
A few days later we had received a parking fine of £70 because we had gone over 2 hours by 7 minutes. I later contacted Aldi in fairness they were apologetic and sorted my fine . Later I had learned because we had a blue badge we were allowed 3hours but we still had a fine .
So to those who go shopping at Aldi keep a close watch on the time .
This experience has left me a bitter taste and I’m reluctant to go shopping at Aldi in case I receive another fine

Aldi sell fresh salmon which they call…
Aldi sell fresh salmon which they call 'boneless salmon' but it has bones sticking out of the side of it. So this is very misleading information, if I wanted salmon complete with bones I would look for that on the label. I wrote to them about this and got 'no responce' so their customer services is also very poor.

I used to be a huge fan of Aldi and they were so reliable. What’s happened?? 5 out of my last 6 orders have been late. Why give a choice of dates, which can’t be met?! I don’t want the postage refunded-I want the item when promised. Final straw…. “ use code nextdayfan for next day delivery of your fan” still waiting-heatwave will be over. I have turned to Argos for my basics who are superb! So disappointed in Aldi.

Customer disservice
I ordered online for an item on 6th June this year which has yet to be delivered, when I questioned Aldi I was eventually advised they were in contact with couriers and would receive an answer 2 weeks ago, still waiting, all further messages I have sent have been ignored. I can only conclude perhaps Aldi customer service should consider re naming to customer disservice, never again….

Incomplete customer service
Bought some outdoor furniture in April to arrive in May. Didn’t turn up! In late June I called and was told it had been lost. Wasn’t going to call or communicate that with me. I then ask for a replacement and this requests needs to go to a different department who will call in 72 hours. A week later I call and I was asked to wait another 72 hours. A week later I assume they are just trying to steal my money or are utterly incompetent. Needless to say I won’t be shopping there again but they probably don’t care in all honesty. The old adage of you pay for what you get…..
I will try again this week for a refund (n.b it’s mid July)
Appalling service - where’s my order?
Ordered a bell tent 12 days ago. It took 8 days for despatch. We were advised delivery would be 13th July. Nothing arrived. We contacted Aldi and were told they couldn’t help immediately as the courier XDP could not be contacted by phone. They sent an email and are allowed 3 days to reply. If nothing is received back they send another email. After 10 days it’s considered lost and we can get a refund. We don’t want a refund Aldi - we want our order! Why are you using this courier company and who signed this awful contract with XDP. The reviews speak for themselves. Spent a lot of money for festival tickets - where’s the order Aldi? Extremely poor customer service and advise
My complaint relates to the scale of the poor service I’ve endured over the last few weeks since receiving my defective Ambiano Electric Grill. Having built up my Grill I tried it and was disappointed to find out it was defective. After ringing the customer service number on 7/7/22, I was advised to dismantle the grill and put it back in its box a return it to my nearest Aldi store for a refund.
A seemingly relatively straightforward process which I did at my own expense and time.
However when I explained my situation to staff and Manager at the store I was refused a refund and told this was not possible and that I had been miss advised and should ring customer services again to arrange a collection and refund.
Later that day I rang Aldi customer service who said they would arrange Evri (Hermes) to collect my item on 12/7/22 and I could have a refund 4/5 hours after it had been collected if I rang again. I never received any email or sms confirmation details of this.
On 12/7/22, I rang customer service again who couldn’t find my consignment number for Evri and rearranged a collection with Furdeco on 19/7/22.
I requested a complaint was logged and I would also like a manager to ring me back regarding this matter. I was advised someone would ring in the next 4 working hours.
Nobody rang me back !
Without any prior notice on the 12/7/22 an Evri courier arrived to collect the Grill. When I queried why I wasn’t notified of his arrival he couldn’t answer why. To make matters worse when he scanned the barcode he said he “couldn’t take my Grill“ as the barcode was wrong. He explained I should have received an email with the correct barcode.
On the 13/7/22, I received an SMS from Furdeco confirming a different collection date on 13/7/22. This date was not suitable and confusing as I had already arranged collection on 19/7/22.
On 13/7/22, I rang ALDI customer service again and asked to explained why I’ve been given another collection date also why no one has rang me back regarding my COMPLAINT and that I still wanted to speak with a Manager regarding my situation. The advisor put me on hold while she looked into this and after 16 minutes of silence while on hold my call was without warning cut off!!
On 14/7/22, I called Furdeco to avoid further confusion and confirmed collection on the original date 19/7/22 with them.
I still have not received any call back from a Manager regarding my complaint.
On the 14/7/22, I emailed Aldi customer services and received an unsatisfactory response from them.
I replied back to the email explaining I did not consider his email response sufficient regarding the scale of my situation and also requested a response as to why a Customer Service Manager hasn’t rang me regarding my COMPLAINT ?
I requested a confirmation receipt of my email and that some senior Manager to ring me without any further delay regarding my complaint.
I still haven’t received either of the above.
I’m sure my experience doesn’t meet the level of customer service standards ALDI sets out to deliver and a genuinely concerned business would take the time to ring me.
I do not enjoy making complaints as it does take a considerable amount time, however my customer service experience cannot be ignored.
Im still awaiting collection of defective item, refund and a response regarding my complaint.
Avoid the frozen pizzas
There are only a few items I buy from Aldi as I wouldn't be able to get my weekly shop there. I do like their fruit, anti bac wipes, jacket potatoes, frozen mini hash browns and fig rolls but not much else. Recently my husband had sickness and diarrhoea 6 hours after eating one of their frozen pepperoni pizzas. This has really put me off shopping in Aldi and will definitely be avoiding frozen pizzas in the future.
